The purpose of the Profit Leader's Survey is to help CEOs and other executives assess whether they are strategically guiding their companies to maximum profitability and what actions either enhance or detract from current and future profitability.

The questions on the survey are designed to identify and get executives thinking about how the actions they take are linked to the company's profit performance. The financials (and profits) are really just the end result of actions taken by each employee and executive in the organization. Therefore, to change the profit results on the financials, we start with the actions being performed.

The reason executive's participate in this survey is that they are dissatisfied with the current financial results of their company--for whatever reason. This survey is not intended to tell executives whether or not they should be dissatisfied with their company's current profit picture. The survey helps executives determine how to fix profit problems.
